Ministry of Health’s NZ Primary Care Handbook
The New Zealand Primary Care Handbook 2012 is the updated edition of the original New Zealand Cardiovascular Guidelines Handbook (last revised in 2009). The latest edition includes new content on the management of type 2 diabetes, weight management, stroke and transient ischaemic attack, heart failure and rheumatic fever.

Health Research Grant
The Ministry of Health and the Health Research Council are seeking to purchase research projects that transfer knowledge from initiatives with proven effectiveness, into practice in the health sector. $450,000 of one-off funding is avaialble. Registrations of interest close on 1 March, with full proposals due on 29 March 2012. More information is available here.
