GPNZ is an energetic, future oriented organisation with excellent government and health system relationships. Our governance and executive leadership expertise is drawn from our member networks and reflects our members’ “team” culture of doctors, nurses, managers and others working in partnership for the benefit of all New Zealanders and the health system as a whole.
Our sixteen member networks represent over 2000 General Practitioners and 2000 Practice Nurses providing health care services to some 2.5 million New Zealanders from 800 general practice locations.
As an organisation representing teams of health professionals working together within practices and networks, GPNZ plays a key role in supporting the delivery of high quality general practice services to all New Zealanders. This is underpinned by significant experience, innovation and collaboration across, and within, our member networks.
